Michie Koyama, one of Japan’s most eminent pianists, embarks on a four-recital series “Mirai Eigo” during 2026/27, in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Suntory Hall. “Mirai Eigo” means “for all eternity” and she focuses on the timeless masterpieces by four composers she particularly admires—Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin, and Bach—pursuing each composer’s pianism with characteristic sincerity.
