Lyyra, the acclaimed women’s ensemble from the VOCES8 Foundation, returns to Kings Place after their sell-out debut with Rising, a programme ranging from early music to jazz and pop, featuring music from the group’s debut Warner Classics album.
Expect music by Caroline Shaw, Stevie Wonder, William Byrd, Paul Simon, Laura Mvula and more.
Lyyra is the only professional six-voice women’s a cappella group in the USA and is part of the VOCES8 Foundation, the music education organisation established by the internationally renowned vocal ensemble VOCES8.
