Trío Ménage

Trío Ménage brings together three musicians linked to Oviedo Filarmonía. Mercedes Schmidt Inglés (flute), born in Pozo Estrecho (Region of Murcia), trained in Cartagena, at the Escuela Superior de Música de Cataluña with Vicens Prats and in Vienna with Karl Heinz Schütz; she is principal flute at Oviedo Filarmonía. Álvaro Gallego Chiquero (viola), born in Madrid, holds degrees from the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid and studied in Berlin with Hartmut Rohde; he has played with leading Spanish orchestras and on film soundtracks, and is currently assistant principal viola with the Orquesta y Coro de RTVE. José Antonio Domené (harp), born in Alberca de las Torres (Region of Murcia), is a graduate of the RCSMM and the Royal College of Music in London and holds a Doctorate in Music; he is principal harp at Oviedo Filarmonía.
