The penultimate concert of the chamber series spotlights bassoons and the friendship shared among players of this woodwind instrument. This concert also reflects our ongoing tribute to the anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven, alongside three Czech composers. The programme will also feature a modern-day premiere of the Duo for Oboe and Bassoon by Josef Fiala, a composer of the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries.
