Sofi Jeannin and the BBC Singers explore a programme of the repertoire of the French composers of Lully and Rameau, with the added visual spectacle of dance from Aakash Odedra.
Chief Conductor Sofi Jeannin returns to Milton Court with the BBC Singers in a programme of early French repertoire with a twist. The BBC Singers are joined by the Academy of Ancient Music and dancer Aakash Odedra for a vibrant and contemporary interpretation of the dances of Rameau. The Aakash Odedra Company originally collaborated with the BBC Singers for the critically-acclaimed performances of Ravi Shankar’s opera Sukanya and this promises to be unforgettable performance.
