Jeremy Denk Plays Mozart Piano Concertos III

Jeremy Denk, Maria Włoszczowska and Royal Northern Sinfonia round off a three-night celebration of Mozart’s extraordinary piano concertos at Lammermuir Festival. 

A thrilling finale. Mozart’s dramatic Piano Concerto No. 24 is proper drama from beginning to end, with a dark edge thanks to its unusual minor key. Piano Concerto No. 25 is bold and majestic, with a march that’s been suggested as inspiration for La Marseillaise (the French national anthem).
