Lina Tur Bonet of Ibiza founded the instrumental ensemble MUSIca ALcheMIca in 2004 in the German city of Koblenz. Since then, the ensemble has become known for its eclectic nature, as evidenced by this concert bringing together two masterful pieces on the same theme: rediscovering Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons is always an enriching experience, while delving into the universe of Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla and his Cuatro estaciones porteñas means exploring spring, summer, autumn and winter from Buenos Aires, to the rhythm of tango, jazz, and ‘classical’ music. Intense rhythms and expressive contrasts shape the musical map of the programme.
