Threads

In Threads, harpist and composer Remy van Kesteren weaves music and technology into a mesmerizing immersive experience. Alone on stage—surrounded by strings and loops—he explores the boundaries between human and machine, between control and surrender.

The performance stems from his album Leave What You Know (2025), in which Remy embarked on a new path as a creator and songwriter. In Threads, he returns to the essence: the solo, but reinvented. His inimitable harp playing, voice, and electronics intertwine into something enchanting you’ve never heard before.

Together with visual artist Jurjen Alkema, director Titus Tiel Groenestege, and sound designer Nina Kraszweska, Remy creates a world where image and sound become one—a performance about connection, letting go, and the invisible threads that bind us together.
