This performance is an enjoyment of dance itself, with leading Japanese choreographers and dancers, both new and experienced, performing in duets in the style of a ballet concert. NNTT held the same kind of performance with the same intention in 2003 and 2005. This season, in addition to the four duets, we will also have dancers from the National Ballet of Japan performing two pieces: Butterfly, choreographed by Hirayama Motoko and first performed in 2005, and Danae, choreographed by Kaikawa Tetsuo from the National Ballet of Japan Choreographic Group.
