Gerhartz is Director of Concert & Artist Services at Steinway & Sons, a role he has held since starting his career at the Steinway factory in Hamburg in 1986. Based in London, he works closely with leading pianists and major venues, preparing and maintaining concert grands for performance, and is widely regarded as one of the most influential piano technicians working today.
