Eccles' version of Semele would be a real treat to hear anywhere, but especially so for Perth (Western Australia), from the newish Baroque company HIP displaying a wealth of young talent. 

The pairing of Vivaldi's Gloria with Handel's Dixit Dominus makes for an interesting combination with, on this occasion, the latter making the more dramatic impact with the always impressive St George's Cathedral Consort.
