The programme culminates in Rachmaninov’s Symphonic Dances, the composer’s final masterpiece and one of his most powerful creations. Presented in the composer’s own two-piano version, it combines sweeping lyricism, rhythmic vitality and breathtaking virtuosity, distilling the full emotional range and orchestral grandeur of the original score into an electrifying chamber setting.
