A cauldron of emotion will be ready to bubble over when the Ulster Orchestra return to the Guildhall!

Conductor Anna Handler will be your guide through the unfolding storm and drama, which opens with a stately march, composed by Purcell for public mourning following the death of Queen Mary.

One of Haydn’s finest Symphonies follows, full of dark colour and melancholy, then immerse yourself in the elemental power of Brahms’s Tragic Overture.

The concert closes with selections from Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, a ballet that tells a passionate tale of betrayal and the triumph of love over evil.
