Antwerp as one vast piece of music. City of Floating Sounds by Huang Ruo is no ordinary concert: you yourself become part of a moving orchestra. Using an app, you follow your own musical line through the city, performed by the BBC Philharmonic. As the groups cross paths along the way, everything merges into a rich, continually shifting soundscape. What you hear depends upon the route you take and the people you meet on the way - so the city itself becomes the stage.

The walk ends in the Blue Hall, where all the lines converge and the music comes fully to life, performed by the Belgian National Orchestra conducted by Jessica Cottis. A unique, adventurous concert experience in which city, audience, and orchestra converge into a single, vibrant whole.
