The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment's birthday celebrations reach a climax with a concert performance of Weber's opera Der Freischütz.
Der Freischütz, also known as 'The Marksman', is a fusion of folklore, rusticism and magic.
OAE Principal Artist Sir Mark Elder leads the Orchestra's performance of this opera that follows the story of Huntsman Max as he makes a pact with the forces of darkness.
