Intérprete: Sheku Kanneh-Mason

La phalange qui fête ses dix ans d'existence a remporté un triomphe dans un programme original et ô combien enthousiasmant, en belle compagnie – avec Sheku et Isata Kanneh-Mason, Tai Murray et Roderick Cox.

Sheku Kanneh-Mason makes his local debut in Shostakovich's First Cello Concerto, followed by a fantasia on Arabella conceived by Music Director Manfred Honeck. 

In the 50th anniversary year of Shostakovich's death, the Czech Philharmonic bring two of the composer's greatest works to the Barbican, the latest stop on their European tour. 

Rachmaninov’s First Symphony is brought vividly to life in a new performing edition by John Wilson and the Sinfonia of London in an electrifying concert at The Glasshouse.
