The Concert
Spectacular cinematic scores from some of the biggest and most celebrated movies of all time – all originally recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra.
The Music
The most iconic films are unimaginable without their soundtracks, and the LSO’s special sound has played a fundamental role in some of the greatest blockbusters and award-winning pictures. From the stirring trumpet fanfares of Superman to the translucent textures that accompany The Shape of Water, this concert shines a light on cinema’s musical alchemy which brings adventures, battles, superheroes, love stories and so much more to gripping life.
The Performers
Since 1935, the LSO has contributed to the soundtracks of over two hundred movies. In this concert, the Orchestra is helmed by Dirk Brossé, a highly acclaimed conductor and composer of film music.
