Performers
Partes Ensembles |
Partes Ensemble presents Ukrainian Baroque masterpieces from the 17th and 18th centuries, when Kyiv and Lviv were crossroads of musical traditions. Music theoretician and composer Mykola Dyletsky brought Italian influences to the east, while the prodigy Maksym Berezovsky propelled the choral concerto to new heights. A magical winter wonderland unfolds in powerful twelve-part chants and intense four-part miniatures.
Partes from Ukraine is a male choir that breathes new life into traditional and spiritual music. Their repertoire includes centuries-old liturgical works and folk songs, performed with passion and masterful skill. Partes brings to life not just music, but the very soul of Ukraine.
