Following its acclaimed debut in 2024, the prestigious Edinburgh International Royal Mile Piano Series returns with a complete cycle of Beethoven’s 32 Piano Sonatas, performed across the 2025–26 season. Showcasing exceptional talent from leading UK and international pianists, each recital offers a unique perspective on some of the most profound and beloved works in the piano repertoire.

Set against the magnificent backdrop of St Giles’ Cathedral — illuminated by candlelight and enhanced by a newly installed Steinway grand piano — these concerts promise an unforgettable musical experience at the heart of Edinburgh’s historic Royal Mile.

Malaysian pianist Bridget Yee is the winner of numerous international piano competitions including the Windsor International Piano Competition and the Beecham International Piano Competition, where she was also the recipient of the Best Overall Competitor Prize.
In 2020, Bridget won the Putra International Piano Competition with her performance of Ravel’s Concerto in G major. In the same year, she was one of five top pianists across the United Kingdom at the BBC Young Musician Keyboard Category Finals. Bridget also received the Gold of Honor Award at the He Yue International Online Instrumental Solo Competition and was awarded 1st Prize and the Chopin Prize at the Virtual International Music Competition by the Chopin Society of Malaysia. Bridget is a three-time winner of the Western Daily Press Challenge Trophy and was named "Outstanding Young Pianist" at the Mid-Somerset Festival. She is the Winner and Best Etude Award recipient at the first edition of the UCSI International Piano Festival and Competition. Bridget has performed in Japan, Germany, Denmark Hong Kong, United Kingdom, Malaysia, to name a few.
