Takács Quartet

The Takács Quartet’s profound engagement with the works of Beethoven dates back to its foundation in 1975 by an outstanding group of students at the Budapest Academy of Music. The ensemble’s present members share their extraordinary collective wealth of experience, insight and understanding of key works with a programme that spans the composer’s early, middle and last creative years.
