Two thrilling virtuosi share the stage in a recital curated with great care to include entrancing miniatures by the brilliant Swedish violinist and composer Amanda Röntgen-Maier, a great talent whose circle of friends included Grieg and Clara Schumann, and Messiaen’s Theme and Variations, an early work created as a wedding gift to the composer’s first wife, the violinist Claire Delbos.
