Every two years, 40 of the world’s best young concert pianists converge on the seaside town of Hastings in Sussex to compete for a title that could change their lives. Now considered to be one of the world’s top piano competitions, the Hastings International Piano Competition has a reputation for discovering dazzling pianistic talent. With Sir Stephen Hough as its patron and both Steinway & Son and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra as partners, the competition is flying high.
Join us for a recital by the newly-crowned winner of the 2026 Competition, and see for yourself a young pianist who will quite possibly become a star of tomorrow.
