Under Your Wing, an evolving songs project, is named after a piece that was originally performed in 2014 by vocalist Norma Winstone and broadcast on BBC Radio 3. The eponymous song’s lyrics were written by Mike Walker and its music composed by Trish Clowes, described by DownBeat magazine as ‘an improviser to be reckoned with’. Their lunchtime programme, with Ross Stanley on piano, will include vibrant new works and fresh arrangements.
