Haydn’s farewell symphony - Malin Bromans farewell concert

When Malin Broman bids farewell as concertmaster for the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, she does so by playing and conducting a concert that moves between playful energy, Nordic elegance and classical melancholy. The program opens with Anna Clyne's powerful Restless Oceans, continues with Max Bruch's charming Schwedische Tänze, and Sibelius' sparkling Humoresques – music where Broman's lyrical and exuberant playing is at the center. To round off, Joseph Haydn's iconic "Farewell" Symphony No. 45 fills the hall, and the music itself becomes a poetic gesture of thanks and farewell greetings.
