This program focuses on the music of Caroline Shaw - one of the most distinctive voices of her generation and closely associated with Roomful of Teeth, the ensemble with which she made her international breakthrough.

With Partita, which made Shaw the youngest Pulitzer Prize winner ever, she showcases her signature style: clear and layered, rooted in tradition yet unmistakably contemporary. Surrounding this are works by Peter Shin, Leilehua Lanzilotti, and William Brittelle, among others, whose Psychedelics evokes a thrilling, contemporary soundscape. With unprecedented virtuosity, Roomful of Teeth explores the outer limits of the human voice and creates an intense, spatial listening experience—adventurous, direct, and full of imagination.
