Blue Hour

As the Blue Hour project is characterised by spontaneity, the programme and the participating musicians are usually finalised shortly before the performance. Keep an eye on our website!

Previous Blue Hour concerts have featured programmes such as Fantasy Quintet with works by Mozart and York Bowen, Piazzolla – Tango Sensations with six musicians, Viola Evening including the world première of a work composed by the orchestra's "own" Torbjörn Helander, and Sinatra Evening with Jens Persson Hertzman as vocal soloist. The Blue Hour project began in spring 2022, and has proved hugely popular with musicians and audiences alike.

Various members of the Royal Swedish Orchestra participate - sometimes with guests.
