The shortest festival in the Netherlands is back! After the success of the first Calefax Reed Festival in 2025, organised to celebrate the reed quintet’s 40th anniversary, the beloved PAN Festival is back. PAN is Calefax’s annual mini-festival featuring top musicians across all genres and surprising ventures into other art forms. A festive evening that blends classical sounds with jazz, music from all over the world, improvisation, and experimental art.

Pan - the Greek god of the wild Half man, half beast, untamed, free and alive with music. But a pan is also a cooking utensil used to blend all kinds of ingredients into one flavourful meal. And in Greek, pan means ‘everything’. Little wonder that a pan has come to represent a party that goes slightly off the rails. The PAN is all of those things at once. In this 21st edition, Calefax takes the stage alongside guests from the Netherlands and abroad, from countertenor Arturo den Hartog to CalefaXS, in collaboration with the Sweelinck Academy. An evening full of surprises with music that refuses to be boxed in.

Tickets: € 12,50 – € 35,00
