We'll hear Luciano Berio's brilliant arrangements of folk songs from various countries performed by Barbara Hannigan, powerful Eastern European rhythms that inspired Bartók, and the pulsating rhythms of tropical recorder hits. When combined with the musicality of Charlie Parker and the folk music of Iceland, this concert becomes a true feast for the eyes and ears performed by world-class artists.
