The Saint Cecilia Singers perform a latenight concert alive with vivid drama. The exhilarating Chichester Psalms, with its unique blend of rhythm and harmony, will raise the roof with a joyful cry. Written especially to be sung in the echoey nave of Gloucester Cathedral, Neil Cox’s beautiful Requiem Canticles creates moments of magnificent resonance alongside moments of real intimacy in a moving, expressive work featuring a recording of the bells of Speyer Cathedral.
