Without electricity or central heating, people living during Baroque-era Europe must have spent half the year feeling rather cold. What better (or cheaper) way to warm up than to gather together for a tipple? And for entertainment… music! From gods to lowly humans, royalty to sailors, we’ll recreate a cellar-full of drink-inspired scenes for you to enjoy. From opera arias and solo songs to alehouse jigs and pieces for everyone to sing (yes, including our dear audience), we’re very happy to be raising a glass to this squiffy musical output.
This is a one-hour concert without interval followed by à-la-carte restaurant service. Doors will open at 6pm for drinks and snacks, with the performance beginning promptly at 6.30pm. Food service will start from 8pm.
The full menu will be released two weeks before the event. Please note that the ticket price does not include food. Wine and drinks will also be available to purchase on the night.
Seating is organised on shared tables. We will endeavour to seat groups together but cannot guarantee this will always be possible.
