Gershwin’s Piano Concerto

The colourful French pianist Lise de la Salle is in the spotlight with Gershwin’s atmospheric Piano Concerto in F, originally called the New York Concerto. Infused with jazz and lit by Broadway, it’s vibrant, sultry, fun and full of life. The French connection continues with guest conductor Bertand de Billy directing the Singapore Symphony Orchestra in Korngold’s monumental Symphony and the music of Paris-cultivated Danish composer Riisager.
