This concert will fend off the chill of winter! Michael Collins is our soloist for Weber’s sprightly, playful Clarinet Concerto No. 2 and Haydn’s final symphony is a joyous showcase of all his innovative writing. We are also delighted to give the World Première of Simon Mawhinney’s A Pillar of Light for Haydn, a visionary celebration of the life of a friend’s teenage son.
