Following his breathtaking appearance with the Orchestra earlier this year, violin legend Maxim Vengerov will join Marios Papadopoulos for a very special recital to launch his residency with Oxford Philomusica. His dazzling talent will shine through three of the finest works written for violin and piano: Franck’s emotionally charged Sonata in A, Saint-Saëns’ sultry, latin-infused Havanaise and Tchaikovsky’s glittering Valse-Scherzo.
