| Works by Mendelssohn, Fanny (1805-1847) |
| Aurora Orchestra |
Beep beep, adults aboard! Are you ready for a musical adventure with Aurora Orchestra?
Have you ever sat in a children’s concert and wondered, ‘What would this be like if there weren’t any children here?’
Here’s your chance to find out. Aurora Orchestra’s principal players and storyteller Jessie Maryon-Davies have been presenting the Far, Far Away series (storytelling concerts for children aged 0-5) for the past 15 years and have discovered that there is a lot of fun to be had if you present these concerts to an audience of grown-ups (after the children have gone to bed).
Grab a drink and take the opportunity to jump aboard the moving machines with Fanny Mendelssohn; conduct a steam train, lie underneath floating hot air balloons, help a unicorn cross the road and sing with the sailing ships. This performance will fill your heart, tickle your funny bone and delight your inner child.
There are two seating options: mats on the floor or chairs. You can choose where you want to sit on the night, but both seating options will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Price: £20
