Cult classics and American rhythms: Philip Glass meets Rachmaninoff, right here in Birmingham.

Two of the CBSO’s own stars play his extraordinary Double Timpani Concerto and another home-grown hero – conductor Alpesh Chauhan – cuts loose with all-dancing, American-inspired masterpieces by Rachmaninoff and Carlos Simon.
Tickets: £26, £38, £50, £62
