Celebrating ten years since his first Rosenblatt Recital, the bel canto tenor of choice for the world’s leading opera houses, Juan Diego Flórez, returns to open the second half of the 2010/11 season with a virtuoso recital at Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall.
Juan Diego Flórez’s last London recital with pianist Vincenzo Scalera caused The Times to proclaim him “the most thrilling tenor of our age” and “one of the most extraordinary vocal phenomenons of all time”. His Royal Festival Hall programme will embrace the Baroque, Classical, bel canto and Romantic eras and the vibrant world of zarzuela.
