Elegant and virtuosic, Haydn’s Cello Concerto in D Major is celebrated for both its charm and technical brilliance, filled lyrical melodies, high-register passages and rapid runs.
Schumann’s Symphony No. 1 'Spring' arrives as a burst of fresh lush harmonies and optimism. Spring is inspired by the German poet Adolf Böttger’s poem, Frühlingsgedicht, which portrays nature as a symbol of reawakening and hope.
Tickets for all 2025/26 season BBC Philharmonic Studio concerts will go on sale in June 2025.
