NDT2 is an excellent company, presenting fresh, interesting and exceptionally well-performed pieces in this new tour.

In-Nocentes is wonderful. Michael Keegan-Dolan and his team have drawn from the gifts and commitment of these young dancers to create original, rich and extraordinary dance.

The latest bill from the Richard Alston Dance Company shows its leader as a consummate teacher: studied, scholarly, thoughtful.

The Royal Ballet's Giselle is classical ballet at its best, paying deep reverence to the original with some of the heavier elements refreshed. Excellently performed by Sarah Lamb and Matthew Golding. 

There is much to like about the English National Ballet Nutcracker, but it could be so much more.
