The brilliant clarinetist Anthony McGill’s third and final 92NY concert this season features him in collaboration with pianist Conrad Tao – hailed by The New York Times for his “probing intellect and open-hearted vision.”
They perform Brahms’ lyrical and beloved second Clarinet Sonata, a work a renowned critic and friend of Brahms wrote is “as if it had fallen from the Heavens.” Also on the program: Berg’s imaginative miniatures Four Pieces, and additional works to be announced.
