In the Historical Museum’s Baroque Hall, the innermost resonance of voice meets the roots of Central European choral tradition. Under the direction of Zoltán Pad, the Swedish Radio Choir delves into music of Péter Zombola, Zoltán Kodály and György Kurtág – works where simple prayer, folk power and concentrated modernism are tied together into a resonating ecosystem. From the intense stillness of Libera me to Kodály's powerful Mátrai képek, a concert is formed filled with human presence, spiritual sound and timeless beauty, where flower, root and resonance are embodied in every note.
