Christmas concert: Swan Lake and The Nutcracker

An entrancing love story (with a prince, a beautiful young woman transformed into a swan by a wizard's spell and a deadly deception...) coupled with the enormous power of Tchaikovsky's music make Swan Lake an incomparable experience. This romantic work was the first of the three ballets that the Russian maestro composed for the Moscow Opera.

The Christmas Concert will be performed by the ADDA Simfònica Alicante orchestra, conducted by Josep Vicent. The programme will be completed by The Nutcracker, another of Tchaikovsky's hits that has thrilled generation after generation. A fable with a Christmas spirit whose theme is the longing for lost childhood and the clash between the reality of adults and the world of children's dreams.
