A fading opera star in 1970s Paris. After a long silence she’s making a comeback, but are her voice and nerves up for a revenge? Prima Donna is a romantic celebration of opera by the indie icon and opera lover Rufus Wainwright. At the premiere at the Royal Swedish Opera in 2020, critics celebrated Elin Rombo’s performance and Wainwright’s music, inspired by French musicians.
