Weill’s New York Street Scene is a successful ensemble end of year piece for the students of RCS, ably directed by Alexandra Spencer-Jones, Robert Houssart conducting with the orchestra on top form.

Music, singing and movement blend together in a powerfully moving double bill of French Tragedy, Les Malheurs d’Orphée and Le Vin herbé  at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.   

Royal Academy Opera's thoroughly competent Suor Angelica precedes a fabulously entertaining Gianni Schicchi, with a top drawer performance from Haobin Wang in the title role.
