Performer: Hebrides Ensemble

The Hebrides Ensemble make its first visit to Perth Festival of the Arts with an 'Auld Alliance' programme which mixes contemporary Scottish with 20th-century French works. 

The EIF begins its Bernstein day with music from the outer edges of his career.

Psappha and The Hebrides Ensembles celebrate 25 years of music-making with a new commission, a tribute to Maxwell Davies and Schoenberg’s soulful  Verklärte Nacht.
