On its return to London after 26 years of absence, the National Ballet of Canada has presented its brand new version of the much-loved tragedy Romeo and Juliet. The company having performed John Cranko’s interpretation since 1964, an entirely new production was commissioned to acclaimed choreographer Alexei Ratmansky to mark the 60th anniversary of the company in 2011.

The Kings of the Dance program offers audiences a unique experience: a chance to see the top men in ballet letting it all out on one stage. This year, Opus 3 maintained the program’s reputation at New York City Center.

English National Ballet’s early summer spectacular offers an evening of glamour, glitz and gorgeous gowns all neatly wrapped in the glorious music of the Gershwin brothers. Choreographed and directed by Derek Deane, it combines a medley of songs, music and various dance styles – classical ballet, ballroom and tap dancing --to suit every taste.
