Live, Video: Find classical music concert, opera, ballet and dance reviews | 10 Days in a Madhouse

10 Days in a Madhouse is a musically and dramatically excellent but disturbing insight into conditions in a women’s asylum brought to life in Toronto by an excellent production.

In this world-premiere work, which opens Opera Philadelphia's Festival O23, composer Rene Orth and librettist Hannah Moscovitch dramatize and deconstruct the true story of Nellie Bly's commitment to a mental asylum.
