Gloria Coates’ Quartet melts and warps time, while Charles Ives’ music uses the physical space of Sage Two, creating a cosmic question and answer session. George Crumb’s Ancient Voices of Children creates a ghostly and surreal atmosphere, contrasting the dissonant and bizarre with profound silence.
