| Isabelle Faust | Violín |
| Kristian Bezuidenhout | Clave |
Violinist Isabelle Faust is acclaimed for her fearless and omnivorous artistry and her mastery of music across eras. Among her many artistic partnerships is one with the superb harpsichordist and keyboardist Kristian Bezuidenhout. They join us for a performance of Bach’s Sonatas for Violin and Harpsichord – music that they have performed and recorded to raves – interspersed with works illustrating the evolution of early Baroque violin and keyboard music. Reviewing a performance of the Bach sonatas at London’s Wigmore Hall, The Guardian wrote, “the two players have such apparently different musical personalities, with Bezuidenhout’s exuberance weaving itself into the luminous intensity of Faust’s sound and generating an exhilarating creative spontaneity between the two.” BBC Music Magazine hailed their recording of these works as “a set that celebrates life from first note to last.” Experience sparkling, daring, thrilling performances from two of today’s most exciting musicians.
