Kazuki conducts Richard Strauss: with oboist Jonathan Kelly as soloist, this will be something special.
Richard Strauss never held back, so when he set out to depict the whole of human history in music, it’s fair to say that the results were spectacular! Also Sprach Zarathustra is a roof-raising contrast to Strauss' lovely Oboe Concerto and we’re thrilled to welcome back one of our own: former CBSO principal oboe Jonathan Kelly, now a member of the Berlin Philharmonic.
