The great Italian pianist Maurizio Pollini makes a welcome return to Royal Festival Hall.
This was the venue for his triumphant Pollini Project in 2010/11, when he gave five recitals traversing a wide spectrum of piano music from across three centuries. The Sunday Times commented that he 'takes us to a new musical universe'.
Considered a legendary master of the piano, Maurizio Pollini revisits some of the composers with whom he is most closely associated, in his only London recital this season.
